This Privacy Policy explains how LocalHalo (“we”, “us”, “our”), a brand and product of TechShuttle Private Limited, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the LocalHalo website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Account & business information — name, email, business name, branch/location details, and login credentials of shop owners and managers.
• Store configuration — details you provide about your business (industry, services, staff names if enabled, Google review link).
• Customer review interactions — when a customer scans a QR code, we record anonymous interaction data (star rating, selected options, the review draft generated, and whether they proceeded to Google) and, for low ratings, any private feedback and optional contact details the customer chooses to share.
• Demo/contact requests — details you submit through our “Book a demo” or contact forms.
• Usage data — basic technical information such as pages visited and device/browser information.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, and we do not ask customers to log in or create accounts to leave a review.

3. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To generate review suggestions from the inputs a customer provides.
• To show shop owners their analytics and private feedback.
• To communicate with you about your account, support, and billing.
• To respond to demo and contact requests.

4. Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service, including:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Anthropic (Claude) — generating review suggestions from customer inputs.
• Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions.
• Google — customers post their reviews on Google; that activity is governed by Google’s own policies.

These providers process data only to deliver their part of the Service.

5. Data retention

We retain account and store data for as long as your account is active, and interaction/feedback data as needed to provide analytics. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including row-level security to isolate each business’s data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@localhalo.app.

8. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
